I volunteer my time to a non profit organization call Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Please take time to check out this site and this organization which is always in need of donations, both time and monetary. The NILMDTS organization started working with our local hospital ISJ of Mankato approx three years ago, and since then there has been three area volunteers to ISJ to call upon, myself, Wendy of Swaddlebee Photography and Katie of Behind the Lens Photography.

I am putting a call out to area professional photographers, and those aspiring to be professionals to take into consideration volunteering your time to this organization. There is a small annual fee you’d be asked to pay, but it goes toward the education and support you’ll receive a as a volunteer.

Why am I asking? For a few simple reasons 1. There is a need greater then you know. (Both Katie and I are on temporary leave at this time as we are both expecting a child soon) 2. It will change you life. 3. Most importantly it will change someone else;s life.
