This summer’s weddings were a bit different. I photographed them all with my best friend and husband Lucas. I didn’t expect our partnership to grow while working together, but it has been both a blessing on our business as well as our relationship. I joke with many of my brides that I often treat shooting a wedding now like a blessed date. I get to spend an entire day with a bride and groom  smitten with affection, enjoying a positive message with new friends and I get to enjoy a dinner with my best friend.
