STUDIO FACE LIFT….paint, props and new storage

I’m a little delayed at getting this online which simply means yeah we’ve been busy doing other things! A few weeks back we took the time to clean the studio, including carpet, walls, storage and a fresh coat of paint!

Here is our high-key area, notice how the grey doesn’t go to the ceiling, one of our projects was to paint it all the way up….

This is a sweet shot that Kandi took(She’s in red shirt below) She had never used the studio camera before just started walking around with it, and took some sweet pictures! Including the ones where I’m clinging for my life on the ladder!

This was taken about mid-week, Kendall assembled all the new storage units(by herself!) We have the hard wood floor still covered to protect from the drips! Kandi worked hard and painted all of our white props with a fresh coat of paint, so can see some of them behind Kendall.

More pictures of Me, Kandi and Kendall clinging for our lives, not only did we repaint the white, we repainted the grey walls all the way up! It was a long ways up!

These are a few pictures of the storage unit coming together, and painting finished. We had also shampooed the carpet, and rehung all the backgrounds!

This last picture is a shot out the back door of the studio, where we store the overflow of studio props, it also serves as a working area for the lab, custom framing etc.

So after much delay….this was our repainting job!
