…..GIFTED

What an outpouring of love I have been given lately! From simple hugs to hot air balloons, my life has been lifted up by many members of my “family”.

My Barnett Photo Staff Family: Luke and I are heading to Orlando Florida following the wedding, and we have been researching what to do while we are there. My BFF Kendall, overheard how we had looked at a hot air balloon ride, but it was out of our budget. So last week, everyone I work with came together and bought us a Hot Air Balloon ride for our honeymoon. It will be amazing!!! I am so looking forward to it! Thank you all!

My Long Distance Family: Tonya Gruenwald and I have known each other for several years, I started photographing her children 3-4 years ago. She drives her three young children all the way from White Bear Lake to play with us in the studio. On Saturday she dropped in with Darian, her youngest(almost one) in one hand, and a huge gift bag in the other. She had caught word….uh hem, Kendall,  that I was getting married and spoiled us with a gift for our home. Completely unexpected, completely thankful. As Tonya and I chatted about the future, and about the past our eyes filled with tears. Family comes in all shapes and forms, and I am blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life.

My MOPS Family, Mothers of Preschoolers: Last Thursday I took the day off from the studio, to focus on the wedding planning. While I was at home the post man delivered a card from the Mops group. I’ve told the Mops group they are my family many times over. I truly see their families more then my own. They too knew a wedding was in the works, and send us an hour limo ride to use on our wedding day! I can’t say how special I felt to know they all wrote a personal note to Luke and I, wishing us the best!

My Fiance: Luke has gone out of his way to make each day together count. He has given me all the support I could ask for as I try to finish programs, paint a runner, and complete the tons of misc things occurring right now. His unconditional love does not go unnoticed.

I’ve received best wishes from people in the super market line, hugs from the cashier, hugs from fellow photographers, precious phone calls from my friends in Phoenix, countless smiles and blessings from my friends at Hosanna. I know it’s a very exciting time in my life and emotions run high, but its simply the little things that make(or break)someone’s day. I only hope I can do the same in your lives as well!

Blessings!

Sherry
