10 tidbits of advice for your front porch Winter mini session-

#1. Choose a great time.  An ideal time of day to schedule your session is when the sun is behind your front porch, so there is shade on you & your porch.  Pick a time where everyone is fed and happy and not missing nap time.

#2.  Invite company to join you. During this crazy year we’ve seen our parents so little, be sure to include them in the mini session when they come to visit.

#3. Dress for who you are. This is a great time to be casual if you are casual & formal if your wanting to dress it up. The great news is all of your clothing is near by, so you can go inside to change if you need to.

#4. Bring a neutral colored blanket available to sit on. The steps can be chilly on your bum.

#5. Turn up the radio if you want to keep your mind off the cold, my favorite for everyone is Disney tunes!

#6. Hats, scarves & mittens are welcome, but be sure they match what else you’re wearing.

#7. Hire a photographer who moves quickly so you can get a few different looks & angles before anyone is too cold.

#8. Snuggle, Snuggle, Snuggle. It’s Winter after all, this is the time to get close, and enjoy each other.

#9. Have rewards ready inside, like warm cocoa, popcorn and a family movie to follow the session.

#10. Realize your neighbors are definitely peeping on you during the session, don’t worry we know you peep on them too.
