Today I wanted to give an Inspired Portrait SHOUT OUT to our North Mankato Fire Department & Team. Your team rocks!
I was recently photographing a portrait session of a family when the father’s scanner went off for a fire call. He immediately left the photo shoot to take the call. (Don’t worry I took care of mommy & baby & got them home safely) It warmed my heart to see such dedication from our local men. These brave men put their own lives aside to protect ours. I am thankful to live in this community that is protected by giving, strong, kind men, who go above and beyond when duty calls.

These men also took the polar plunge recently held in the area to raise funds and awareness for the special Olympics.
