I. Get. It.

Trust me, I can relate to you.

First you scramble to find a time that “works” for everyone in your family (around jobs, school, sports, nap time, meal time )

Second, you begin to worry about what everyone will wear. Starting at the department store, then another department store, maybe even search online for the perfect outfit, settling last on something you already owned.

Third, You scramble to keep everyone clean,as you yourself try to get your hair and make-up just right, rethinking again if this color even looks good on you.

Once out the door, you forget something, which you know will make you late, so there’s no need to turn around for the once needed emergency nuk. Then what’s that? Wind? Rain? Snow? Of course the weather has to be a spoil, on “our day” Ugh.

Then on the way to your session someone spills something on someone and you arrive 5 minutes late, assuming you’re out of time and regardless of how great the photographer is, you’re still going to look rushed, and maybe even fat.

You say a little prayer of hope as you approach the studio, ” Just one, Please get us just one image of us all, looking our happiest at the same time, that’s all I want”

Moms & Dads…..I get it.

I was almost in tears after our last attempt at family portraits (see above). I get it. All the work that goes into that annual family portrait, it’s almost exhausting just writing about it. So I am thrilled to tell you….
