Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful wedding. Julie, the bride, was my roommate my freshmen year at SSU.  When we were juniors we both transfered to new colleges, I to Mankato, and Julie to Moorhead. We have kept in touch with random e-mails and calls, and dinners every so often, so it was a great joy to attend her special day.

When Julie walked down the aisle I did everything not to cry, sappy as I am, I was so moved by how much Julie was dressed to perfection. During dinner we were seated with other couples from Julie’s past. As conversations went on that night I felt as if I’d know some of the people forever. It was a pleasant evening among new and old friends.
