The joy of photography!

Every October two amazing women fly from California to spend a few days here in Minnesota with their 94 year old grandmother on her birthday. For the last 4 years they have contacted me to take photos of them on their visit. The three of them go shopping and find outfits that match and we go from there. I got nervous I might miss them this year due to Barnett’s closing, but with a little luck they were able to locate me and my new business. Here is what we created together this year!

Meet Hillary

….a high school senior from Mankato East High school. I met Hillary at my church while volunteering for the youth group. She is a simple, hard working young lady. When she is not being photographed, she likes to go bowling and attend lock-ins at the church. This session was taken at seven mile creek. Thanks girl~

Kids at Play

On a cloudy afternoon, I met a new client and her amazing children at Sibley park. We went for a short nature walk and chatted about favorite foods, favorite things and the children’s kind teachers. I am thrilled that the world has such wonderful people in it, and that I am lucky enough to me a handful of them.
