When booking new sessions I often here ” but I have nothing to wear, what should we wear etc”  The most important advice I can give you for your family portraits is to ask yourself this first….Do we want to hang this portrait as a nice classic portrait on our wall, or is this something more storytelling such as a themed portrait? This family below is a perfect example of a classic looking portrait. Solid colors all in the same hue/color tone draws the viewer into the faces rather then what the family is wearing.
