Cooking the up the smell of Christmas

Friday, November 19th, 2010

Growing up, we were never short of fresh baked goodies. We always had home made choc chip cookies, or brownies, but around the holidays the treats over flowed. My mom has a great talent for the craft of baking and we always had the best holiday goodies to pass out to friends/family. Tomorrow my mom is having a bake sale at our home town city hall in Fulda, MN. If you are in the area, its worth the stop. The price is right to help your craving for sweets. Here are a few of things she has prepared this year. I will be visiting the event, so if you’re in the Mankato area and you would like me to pick up a treat or two for you, let me know.

Tiny Dancer

While my husband helped to hang a few things in the newly remodeled studio, Olivia and I entertained ourselves a couple weeks ago in the studio. She is about 14 months in these photos, and quite the performer in the camera room.

Landgraff Session

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

This brother and sister pair had never been to our studio but we were very familiar with getting their portraits taken. As soon as the session started I was able to get great images full of expression. Their mom had purchased a gift certificate on a silent auction that included out Black and White relationship session, so most of the images were in BW and of the siblings interacting with each other. I included a few of my favorites, but also included the session link below so you can view an entire session from start to finish.

This little lady continues to grow up so quickly. Here are a few of the latest images from her Fall session. I love how she can make so many various expressions in such a short period of time, love it!

Celebrate Family

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

I think this pup slept well after his family photo shoot. We have a couple farm cats that were trying to get his attention while we were telling Pup Jake to sit still, he was a great sport. The young lady was a trooper as well, she had no problem with the multiple outfit changes and both in studio and outdoor images. This couple first came to me when they were expecting their sweet little girl, and now she’s a happy infant on her way to toddler-hood.
