Inspired Portrait Photography

Once in awhile, we plan sessions and the weather is perfect, here was one lucky case. On a simple Sunday afternoon in the Sibley park we were able to create a beautiful story of this family. The couple featured here in this session, I am honored to call friends. They are currently working in Seoul, South Korea, and are back to Minnesota on vacation. When I caught wind of their plans to return I started hounding them about creating this session for them. Once in awhile, I remind people the importance of family portraits, and once in awhile they agree. I’ve included the entire session slide show.

Family Session-In the Park

To celebrate the 4th of July holiday with my family, I will not be available this weekend from Thursday July 1st starting after 1pm. I will return to office Tuesday, July 6th at 9am.

We are celebrating by hosting a family reunion right here at Inspired Portrait Photography on Saturday July 3rd. If you see lots of cars and commotion, that is my crazy, wonderful family.

Also This Saturday, July 3rd is my wonderful Husband Lucas’s birthday, so if you drive by PLEASE give him a BIRTHDAY HONK or two, or stop in to pass on a birthday hug.

……oh and PLEASE drive by slowly lots of kids at play this weekend. Thanks

This handsome man is the youngest brother of three children I have photographed for a few years. He began the session like any other 3 year old, a big shy at first and then finished the session with a few fun action shots. Toddlers are a fun session simply because they honest, and true, and eager to learn.                        

We recently sponsored a “t” at The One Bright Star Golf Tournament, put on by the Weilage Corp here in Mankato and held at the North Links Golf Course, just a short distance from our yard.

At our T, the golfers were asked to “pose” for an image before they could t-off. They each had to draw an action word and act it out as a group…Here are the groups from the day. (the words they drew on top of the photo)

For anyone who wasn’t able to be at the church dedication at the end of East Main street, Here is the slide show I created from the 9:00 am church service.  Whenever asked to photograph an event I get very excited and try to treat that event with the same creation and passion I have with any Wedding day event I attend.
