Randomness (is my middle name)

I miss blogging, I’ve certainly missed making time for it! But first things first….How are you? How is life treating you? Are you getting out and enjoying the spring temps(avoiding the rain at all costs)? Are your kids ready for summer vacation? Are you ready?

Our lobby has been filled with busy high school seniors (class of 2008) and their parents ordering graduation open house cards. We have also seen many new spring babies, which I’ve been over joyed to photograph. After recently attending a seminar about maternity and new born portraits, I’ve been eager to be in the studio with some new models.

(If you know an expecting mother, please refer them to us, we’d be glad to tell them about our services and we’ll give you a gift for refering them to us)

Here is a random selection from some of my recent works!

These two portrait session were taken for Grandma for Mother’s day

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY:

We love our mother’s at the portrait studio! On Sunday I woke up with the idea that both Luke(my husband) and I needed to see our mom’s for their specail day(they live no wear near each other). So we took off around noon and headed to Ceylon(Fairmont) to see his mom for lunch, followed by a drive on I 90 to Fulda(Worthington) to surprise my mom at Supper time. We surprised our mother’s both with flowers and gifts. (only to learn today that my sister’s cat ate all the blooms off the flowering plant I gave my mom sigh, I hope it’s the thought that counts!) So we firgured we spent about 4.5 hours on the road on Sunday, but it was worth it to see our mommies!

We’d love to know what you did, or what was done for you this mother’s day!

I agree. The trip was worth it. We had a lot of fun playing ladder ball with my sisters and getting to see our moms.

Hi Sherry!

I love your mother/baby images! That baby was actually smiling. Too cute! The photo with the mom closing her eyes snuggling her baby is so sweet, and the close up of the baby smiling is precious. Great work !
