This little man arrives as the studio each session with his smiles on and personality shinning.  Here are a few images from his one year session. We planned to do a few more images outside, but the Minnesota skeeters were out in full force.

For anyone who’s ever attended a extended family reunion I am sure you have certain expectations when attending. Our family does is differently….there is still a potluck with everyone’s favorite foods, but we take it a step (or two or three) further. Here are some images from the day at our home with the Schwantes(my mom’s family) Family.  They include the planning committee wearing sports gear as encouraged, home run derby photos, bean bag toss tourney, swimming and napping events, silent auction, norwski softball, and relaxing. Events not pictured where king and queen crowing, sports trivia, ball park Franks for super, countless laughs, free throw contest etc. Here’s a peak into my reality.

What a blast I had with this bunch, we chatted about breakfast, and played ring around the Rosy, and even danced with some daisies. After a rain out from the first session, we got another cloudy day and even a few rain drops during the outdoor session. The changing weather didn’t affect our ability to create something magical of these three angels.

  I met this sweet gal 4 years ago when I was honored to photograph her senior photos. She came in for this fun session to create the beginnings of a portfolio. Thanks to her aunt and roommate, the three of us created some powerful images. Here are a few from the session
