This sweet-heart mommy, fiance, bride to be and friend of mine at church got a great big surprise a couple weeks ago. She thought she was having a long distance conversation with him from his current military base in Afghanistan, when shortly after their conversation, he showed up on her door steps. It was a Huge surprise to everyone. She had thought we’d be taking these family and engagement photos in April, but called me up when she discovered this was his two week leave from his service.  Here are a few images from their session, they will be in front of our cameras again in September for their magical wedding at Hosanna Lutheran.

Congrats again! Sherry & Inspired Portrait Photography

I must entend a belated CONGRATS to my friends Kandi and Eric Poopler who were married this past August. I was honored to be part of her special day and stoof up for her with amazing family and friends. Here are some images I took from the wedding day of her and Eric’s first meeting as bride and groom to be.

This happy bride and groom exchanged vows over labor day weekend this past September. They were surrounded with loved ones, family and friends in Saint Pauls Lutheran here in Mankato. We were invited to photography for a few short hours before the ceremony. Here are a few of the images from the session.

Before we know it October will be here (and blessed Fall colors too) and this happy couple will say their “i do’s”. Fall weddings are always bitter sweet for me as my joy for photographing another happy couple is celebrated, the reality of another wedding season coming to an end is realized. I am looking forward to this fall wedding with much excitement. Congrats to this happy couple!
