Chances are this mommy and daddy are expecting this young lady to arrive soon. The parents were both great sports and let me draw all over them, well mostly the little boy did the drawing, fun for all involved. We are having So much fun creating Free Maternity sessions this year, we just may think of a way to keep them free all the time….stay tuned!

This family hold a near and dear place in my heart as our paths cross over each other and run side by side in many ways. I first met Cassie, Mommy while I was a college junior and she worked in the art office at MSU. It was a blessing to think that was just the beginning of our lives coming together. Fast forward 8 years later, Cassie is expecting her second born and we are thrilled to meet the new little one…any day now!

I recommend creating these images during your 32-37 weeks of pregnancy, although we can also create a “stages” composite if you’d like to come in several times during your pregnancy!

Going on now through October 1st, FREE MATERNITY SESSIONS for new Inspired clients. Clients are required to make a deposit of $50 toward their portrait order.

We recommend having maternity portraits created during your 7th or 8th month. If you’re interested in having maternity portraits created we would love to show you some of our favorite images in studio. If you’re expecting but won’t be ready for your photo shoot until after October 1st, call us up and see what we have to offer.

Another expecting mommy brought in her family to the studio last week. This family drove down from Fairbault to create a memory of their unborn child/sibling. I don’t get the chance to do many maternity sessions with older siblings(most mommy’s choose to do maternity sessions with their first child only) so I was eager to work with the big brother to be. There’s something about photographing a maternity session that gets me complete excited. Lately I’m been trying to challenge myself by breaking some portrait lighting rules(such as shooting into the sun) to create something a bit edgy and non traditional. This amazing couple is expecting their first born in early December, and is enjoying the final countdown. They had some engagement photos created on these railroad tracks and wanted to return there to capture a few milestone photos. It was the first time I had taken a maternity session outdoors, but I will consider doing more of them in the future. Congrats you two, and I can’t wait to meet your little one.
