A Wedding Story

Friday, February 11th, 2011

Congrats to our many brides to be who recently got engaged. We’ve been receiving many calls and questions about our 2011 & 2012 wedding collections. If you’ve also recently decided to tie the knot, I would love to know all about it. I am IN LOVE with LOVE, and can’t get enough of the joy that a wedding day celebration brings. Featured here is a wedding from the summer of 2010, and one of the most memorable days I’ve had the chance to photograph.  By the time I jumped in the van at the end of the night, I felt it hard to leave, as if I had become part of their families.  Thank You Shawnna and Jay for reminding me how much TRUE LOVE means.

We still have a few dates in 2011 open for your wedding day photography.  If you would like to meet with me and find out why my passion lies in the telling of your story with images, call me anytime. 507.381.8007

Long way from home

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010

Each October these lovely ladies visit their grandmother here in Mankato. They fly from California and celebrate her birthday with her every year. It’s lovely I think, they always go shopping for something matching to wear or a theme etc. I believe grandma was 96 this year. She cracks me up by always saying….”of course I can do that, I am not 100 ya know” I look forward to this each Fall. THANKS GUYS

Farm Life

A few times a year I am asked to photograph landscape art for a local farm  finance company to use for their marketing group. This past spring I brought Lucas with to create some images as well. We delivered the client over 100 images, but here are a few I had hand to share with you! Harvest images to come soon!

Last week I had the pleasure of working with a Mankato business who had brought in Harmon Killebrew to speak to thier group. I was able to get a photo and a ball signed before he had to leave. Here are a few images from the time I spent with him.

I feel lucky each day to work with people of all ages, all walks of life, you are all super stars and home run hitters to me! I don’t take my job for granted, and I hope it shows in my work that each of you are special to Inspired Portrait Photography
