I’ve been working on creating many engagement session for my 2011 couples, here is a session that I had a lot of fun with. The day this couple came to the studio was overcast and even a bit drizzly at times, but we were able to create images outside for them despite the Minnesota weather. They brought with the family pet, and she was a ham for the camera, loved it. Here are some of my favorites.

Our wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session, couple can do in studio and on location. We decided to split this couples sessions to two days and two seasons. Here is a sample of the few images we created this month in studio. When the snow melts and the ball parks open up, we plan to do images on location with them as well. Portraits created on-site and somewhere meaningful to the couple (or family) makes my job as a photographer Inspiring. I can’t wait for spring!

Before we know it October will be here (and blessed Fall colors too) and this happy couple will say their “i do’s”. Fall weddings are always bitter sweet for me as my joy for photographing another happy couple is celebrated, the reality of another wedding season coming to an end is realized. I am looking forward to this fall wedding with much excitement. Congrats to this happy couple!

On August 14th one of my coolest gal pals is getting hitched to the man of her dreams…and I am counting down the days. The amazing couple were sweet and invited me to stand with them as a bridesmaid, and not the photographer and I am thrilled. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on the opposite side of the camera at a wedding. As the excitement mounts I revisited a photo session I created for them a month or so back. I may have a hard time containing the excitement for the next few days.
