This family was one of the 140 families who were able to receive portraits for Free from Inspired Portrait Photography in 2011. Between Silent Auctions, Fundraisers and our annual MOPS event we were able to provide families with free sessions all year long. Mankato Photography- A little man turns one

The excitement this rock star had for my craziness (and a little of mom’s silliness) is clear in these images. There was no doubt his mommy picked the perfect time of day to play. The air outside was a bit crisp, but he took the breeze like a champ, loving when mommy tossed leaves into the air above him. This was the first time I had met this family and I look forward to watching him grow!

What is better than one 3 year old, two 3 year olds

These two little ones mark a few milestones for me. They were two of the first newborn babies I photographed shortly after opening inspired portrait, in they they hold a special place. For two years now we’ve done a buddy session with the two cuties, here is this years fun.

This precious mommy and I worked together for a few month when she took on a job with us at Barnett Photo in downtown Mankato. This working mom, Aspen and I had fun swapping mommy stories while we chased around her three year old and caught a few portraits of him. She travels from her home town near the twin cities to the Mankato area about once a month, and each October we get to have a nice visit!

Kids Just Want to Have Fun

This was my first time meeting these two little cuties and I had a great time working with them. Big sister was all about singing the ABC’s….and then getting tickled by mom or dad, and the little brother was eager to discover his new shinny shoes. Both of them were very curious about me and what crazy thing I was going to do next.

these Cuties braved the wind and actual COLD Fall day, the only one we’ve had so far to create images perfect for mommy. It is always a thrill for me to work with a family of five, five different ages, five different personalities, five different agendas. While the youngest was making herself at home exploring and on the mission to catch a cat, the eldest was concerned about getting to his next engagement in time-checking and rechecking his phone for the current time. It was precious to see them all come together and snuggle for a few portraits!

Family Portraits Mankato

These two little ladies brought in mommy and daddy for their first family portrait session at Inspired Portrait. In the world of connections I have quite a few with this family and it was great to create a few images for them to remember during this exciting time. I recommend wearing solid colors to many of my sessions and show them images like this when everyone is wearing black. So this mom took my advice and worked hard to find black dresses for the little ladies, I had to chuckle when mom told me “due to the lack of black dresses for little ladies she had to work really hard to shrink one of them. That’s dedication!

Kids at Play

These two cuties came to celebrate their most recent milestone photos with me in the studio. They came on such a beautiful day that we were able to play both inside and outside. At the end of the session this little man even took the time to try out our riding lawn mower, I was hoping he’d mow a few sections of the lot, but he was content pretending to race it! Thanks cuties!
