When love finds you.

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

I will be here to help you remember the real, raw emotions of true love. I am smitten to work with couples in the mist of their wedding planning because it can be such an exciting time. This couple will be having a November wedding with family and friends from the Janesville area. This bride is one of 4 of my brides this year that were once photographed by me as a high school senior. I am so blessed to have the honor of continuing to work with them through this exciting time. Congrats you cuties!

And one more makes five- Free Maternity Sessions

Friday, July 29th, 2011

This Precious family came to Inspired for their first visit this past July, in celebration of welcoming baby #3. When the mommy heard about our free Maternity sessions she packed up the family and traveled over 90 minutes to create these (and many more) images with her boys.  I had a great time asking the boys about the anticipation of their new sibling, they both seemed quite silently proud to welcome the new one (Who is expected to arrive right around Olivia’s birthday) I spoke with the big brothers about all the things a baby will need, like wipes, diapers and blankets, so we piled them puff of supplies and let life happen for this first image. Congrats Thiners!

Taking Two – Mankato Children Photography

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

One of my favorite little men turned two this July!  There are so many of my clients turning two this year and I am ready to celebrate with them and creating images they will look back onto years from now. As toddler’s characters start to shine, I encourage them to be themselves and I work to create their many expressions! Happy Birthday buddy!

Wedding Photography with Glee

Wednesday, July 13th, 2011

Sometimes you run into a couple of down to earth people you wish you had met sooner in your life, Enter Theresa and Carl, happily married this past month. From the moment I discovered the bride was wearing her mother’s wedding dress, I was smitten with this wedding. With each new little surprise I found myself literally jumping with glee….transformer cuff-links, the first daughter to walk down the aisle, an engraved ring, a groom waiting to see her bride at the alter, a father giving the sermon, a grandfather who gossiped to me all about his “glory days” as a photojournalist, I really…..didn’t want to the day to end. Ask the bride and groom, when I found them sneaking a bit of down time away from the guests, I rearranged their cuddle time and created a whole series of images in which this first one is a part of.  Here is a peak at what my Saturday away from my kids looks like….. Congrats Lonnquists, you amazed me, really, may you be truly blessed with every happiness.

Play Ball in Mankato

Sunday, July 10th, 2011

When grandpa and grandma came to visit, these boys put on their favorite baseball team gear and smiles and hugs for the camera. Grandma requsted a park so we went to the shore line at Sibley park, where I have not been for sometime. It was nice to see how things have changed and stayed the same.
