Back in the studio
Monday, March 21st, 2011Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone for your patient and understanding while we adjust to having two little ones at our home studio. After a month of materntiy leave, I will be back in the studio on this Friday, and it’s not too late to book a session for our buddy and me event.
I am out of the office today, sick, but I will return phone calls and emails tomorrow. Both my husband and I caught our round of the flu, it’s been a rough weekend, and thus is why I haven’t been as available to you as I had hoped.
Have a great Monday Everyone!
Baby boy has arrived
Friday, March 4th, 2011The newest addition to our family has arrived…
Josiah Camp Schultze
5 lbs 13 oz.
20 inches
born on Wednesday Feb 23rd 2011 at 9:15 pm
He was certain to arrive the following Monday but surprised us a few days early. After entering our Wednesday church service I decided I wasn’t feeling well enough to stay and took Olivia out to the parking lot to go home. Luke remained at Hosanna and prepared to play guitar for worship service….only to get a phone call from me five minutes later from the parking lot. I had developed pre-eclampsia with in minutes and Luke rushed a very panic/shook-en me to the ER. The next two hours where much of a blur for me(my head hurt too much to simply open my eyes), as staff as ISJ worked to welcome baby into the world. In less then two hours the staff delivered Josiah into the world via c-section. For the next few days I was very tired and on put on a IV to prevent seizures. My first bonding moments with baby were tow days later when I felt well enough to snuggle him. He and I were able to come home last Saturday and have been settling into the new routine at home. His big sister Olivia is very proud of her baby brother and continues to check up on him when he is sleeping and very concerned if he cries. I have my amazing super hero husband to thank for his calm collect ways and his amazing support through this time.
Thank you to the amazing staff on call, nurses and doctors at ISJ hospital who saved my life and gave our family the most precious gift.
