Studio Remodel

STUDIO REMODEL: We have start the next few steps in the process to move to the new studio. These steps have included speaking with contractors, electricians, heating guys, painters, etc. Of course we can’t pound a nail until the county gives us the go ahead. There’s many things involved in upgrading a building that continue to pile up. I will honestly say I am overwhelmed and excited beyond words right now. The day I get to take the ten second commute to work is still months off, but I am eager to make the upgrade. Once I have a better feel for our time line of completion, I’ll be sure you let you know!

Friday, February 19th, 2010

This is the perfect session for kids to share their dreams and tell about what they would like to be when they grow up.  Another  suggestion is to dress you child up like Mom or Dad or Grandparents showing off their current occupation.

Call to book your session! A few sessions still available from 11 to 3 pm

Photography Jokes:

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say,“I could have done that!”

A photographer from a well know national magazine was assigned to cover the fires at Yellowstone National Park. The magazine wanted to show some of the heroic work of the fire fighters as they battled the blaze. When the photographer arrived, he realized that the smoke was so thick that it would seriously impede or make it impossible for him to photograph anything from ground level. He requested permission to rent a plane and take photos from the air. His request was approved and arrangements were made. He was told to report to a nearby airport where a plane would be waiting for him. He arrived at the airport and saw a plane warming up near the gate. He jumped in with his bag and shouted, “Let’s go!” The pilot swung the little plane into the wind, and within minutes they were in the air. The photographer said, “Fly over the park and make two or three low passes so I can take some pictures.” “Why?” asked the pilot. “Because I am a photographer,” he responded, “and photographers take photographs.” The pilot was silent for a moment; finally he stammered, “You mean you’re not the flight instructor?” – Anonymous

Tiny Fingers Big Dreams

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

This sweet little man and God child of mine has so many exciting things ahead of him. It’s seems like it was just July and I was getting the call to go and visit him at the hospital on his birthday. Since his first photo shoot, I’ve encouraged his mom that he was one of the best kids I’ve ever worked with. True to my word and his positive character here are just a few of his smiles from his 6 month session.

Thanks little man, We love you!
