Wow, has is really been two weeks since I’ve blogged, so sorry, much to share with you in the next few entries.

BABY LOVE
We welcomed our first born Olivia Love Schultze into the family on August 11, 2009 (thus the absence of blog entries) She weighted 4lbs and 7.7 oz and was 18 inches long on her birthday. Stay tuned for her formal announcement and photos from us proud parents. She was 37 weeks but born small, so we are still on the search for preemie clothes to fit her. She is amazing, more to come soon.

Class of 2010
I continue to work with the class of 2010, upcoming seniors, to  capture their personalities for years to come. I want to remind you that our senior sessions are limited this year, and you should check with your high school for yearbook deadlines. Sessions are still available, so call and book your September or October session soon. Here is a peak at a recent session.

Little Man
Babies are always welcome here, and we encourage both mom and dad to join in babies first session. We offer a variety of collections for the baby in the family, guaranteeing a fun collection for babies first year of life. Here is sample of a baby session from two weeks ago.

Baby Cakes

Celebrate your child’s first birthday with a twist on your average first year portraits. We spend time creating your traditional documentary images, (cute teeth, standing, walking, “so big” images) and then we surprise your child with a mini birthday cake just for them. Prior to the session we will discuss an fun outfit, like tutu and diaper or onesy, bibs with no shirt etc. Here is Stella and our latest birthday cake fun!

Bitter-Sweetness

I am out the door this morning with camera bags, lighting and all those fun photo gadjets that make location sessions so great. With Kendall and Lucas at my side I will be photographing the wedding of Heidi & Matt of Sioux Falls, SD. It’s a about 3 hours from here so we are up with the sun(of cloudy skys) getting ready to roll out. There’s a bit of bitter-sweetness in the day knowing it’s my last wedding of the summer season.

As a heads up/reminder I will only be photographing sessions from now until the 20th of August. Following that day we are expecting the birth of our first child and the I will be out of the studio for sometime. If you are still interested in booking a session with us please call Monday or Tuesday to discuss the few times I still have available.

3 years and growing!

This sweet little guy was full of energy and ready to play when he arrived for his session on Saturday. This was the first time I have met him and his parents and he fit right in here at the studio with his eagerness to play. When we took him outside for a ride in his wagon he was all smiles watching as the big semi trucks drove by our home, clapping and cheering. He loves trucks, trains and anything else that has motion.

Class of 2010

To be a high school senior is a very exciting time in a young person’s life, although it was 11 years ago for me, I recall my senior portrait session very well. My session started at 8 am, I had to sit in the grass for a few images and it was still full of dew and my dress got all muddy. My best friend came with me and helped me scram from one outfit to the next.
