One Day of Crazy

I am a busy little girl today at the studio, but I am sneaking in a quick blog during my lunch break. By the end of the day I’ll have met with/photographed two wedding couples, three children, and a session for a magazine cover. Fhew.

I am so thrilled with the support for our Tots Model Search Fund-raiser, I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the open house on Saturday June 6th, 10-3 for the votes to be tallied. You will have until 3pm to vote.

I have had some special family members hop in to volunteer their time for the open house day, so come and meet a bit of my family(no worries not all 128 of them will be here), as I have met so many of yours! Stay for ten minutes, or stay for the day, just bring your own lawn chair!

Later this evening I’ll be back to post about a few sessions I’ve had this week, and to tell you all about my fun weekend ahead, Happy Friday afternoon!

Another Journal Entry

I had a great Saturday here at Inspired Portrait Photography.  Kendall came over in the morning to help me get all ready to promote our annual senior scholarship (info on that tomorrow) as well as chat about our upcoming open house. Mark your calenders for Saturday, June 6th 10 am to 3 pm for our Inspired annual open house. Since our new building is not complete we decided to hold off on the “grand-opening” for a later date, but instead make an annual open house/charity drive.

While Kendall helped me out with the office stuff I was able to photograph a few handsome little men in the basement studio. It was the first time I had the joy of photographing them and each other them provided an array of expressions, Here are few images from the sessions.

Charity Announced

First Annual Tots Model Search

As promised, I wanted to announce who the charity will be for this years open house & Tots Model search. We have selected the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Minnesota . Inspired Portrait Photography will be collecting open heart donations for the foundation now through our open house on Saturday, June 6th (more details to come). Also all of the votes (at $1 each) for the Tots Model search contest will go directly to the JDRF organization of Minnesota.

I am personally eager to learn more about juvenile diabetes through this fund-raiser, and we will be handing out information the week of June 1st-June 6th. I hope that we are able to raise some awareness through a few personal testimonies as well. Should you know a child living with diabetes, and you think he/she may willing to share his/her story with us, please let me know. A free portrait session will be gifted to them for sharing their story with us.
