Precious Spring

Each Spring for the past three years, I had have the pleasure of working with these two lovely little girls. They are some of the most polite and well mannered children I know. This years session led to talk about yummy breakfast foods, whales and even what we think elephants eat.

They also brought with them their new little sister, a mere 3 months old. Thanks mommy Laura for continuing to choose me to work with your three precious angels.

Boys will be boys.

All the way from Henderson, MN, came these precious little guys ready to play. The session was like any other session with a two year old involved. A bit of running, laughing, and loads of exploration. If I’ve learn anything from my job, it’s that two year olds need something new to do every ten minutes….I can relate to that concept quite well. I too have a hard time focusing on the task at hand, I often want to know what we’re doing next. Here’s a peak at the session.

“Baby makes the belly go round”

Mommy to be Amber, called me on a Thursday night stating she had thought about maternity portraits her entire pregnancy, and now that she was beginning the first few signs of labor she wanted to make an appointment with me. I insisted she come first thing the following morning and bring the daddy to be along. So we played with some cute dresses and tops and shared the excitement of what is yet to come. Here are some images from the session.

My husband

This isn’t the reason I feel in love with him, he didn’t know much about photography when we met, but it’s the reason I love him more everyday. Of all people I’ve met, he’s the most eager to continue to learn new skills and it’s flattering that he wants to learn more about what I love. It’s also pretty cool that he carries my camera bag everywhere we go now :) (that’s the heavy red bag strapped to his back).

In case you have not heard, Lucas and I are expecting our first child this Fall. My husband, the father, another thing he is eager to learn.

Have a great Thursday evening. Find something you’d like to learn, and start by googling it…that’s what I’ve learned to do ;)
