Education at It’s Best

Tomorrow morning bright(dark) and early I will be catching a flight to Phoenix, Arizona. For the next four days I’ll be attending the  Imaging USA convention for Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Thousands of photographers from across the nation will be there to learn, grow and collect ideas to improve their business and their lives. I will be traveling with some friends I have met while being a member of the Twin Cities PPA and Minnesota PPA . While at the convention I will be learning new skills from top photographers from around the country. It will be an up at dawn all day educational seminar, with speakers such as Anne Geddes, and vendors showing off all the latest goodies in the photo world! I am excited to tell you (and show you)  all about it when I return! Have a great weekend everyone?

I will be back in the office on Thursday, January 15th See you then!

Most of you know the facts, Our wedding, Barnett closed, Inspired Portrait was born, A home/business search, a big move, and coming soon….a big remodel(for the new studio) I’ve promised a thank you blog. This Big Thank you goes out to the people in our lives who had a direct effect on the purchase of the new home/business space, as well as those who impacted Lucas and I starting up Inspired Portrait Photography.

Tonya & Chad Grunewald-referred us to
Craig Bode & First National Bank -who looked at the business plan
(Lynn Wunderlich encouraged us to write) and then he financed us the house that

And of course it’s more then just them, it was our parents, our friends, our clients, our close relatives, my professional photographer colleagues who encouraged us to keep going….the list is certainly endless.

Precious Little Child

Recently a this little child, and her mother Tressa, (and aunt Elizabeth) came to visit me right before the Christmas holiday for her first portrait session. Dancing skills run in the family so the tutu mom purchased was a swell fit. Here are some of the images from the session
