“Fall”en In Love

On this past Saturday, Lucas and I took the day off to attend my cousin’s wedding in Ham Lake. It was a unique outdoor wedding, filled with fall color all around us.Congrats to Mandy and Chris, may you be blessed with every happiness!

I was able to sneak a few pictures here and there from the event.  While waiting for the ceremony to begin we took a walk about the grounds, here are some of the things we found.

Here are a few of the fun packaging materials I have used this past week to deliver proofs to my clients. When I first was researching/brainstorming what ideas were going to be important to the new business, environmental awareness was huge. While shopping I strive to purchase recycled products and at home I attempt to reuse anything that I can.

I can’t believe it’s been almost one month since we’ve been in business. Life has been moving so fast that today I had to slow down and regroup. I pulled out my brainstorming notebook and remembered why it is I am a photographer. Why I make art. Why I could never stop.

Down on the Farm

No location and no family is too far away for me and my camera! This past Saturday I traveled to Olivia, MN(thanks Kendall for keeping me company) to hang out with a family on Grandma/pa’s farm place. This special family has been driving to Mankato from White Bear Lake for the past three years (+). Over the years we’ve built a great friendship not only with the parents, but the children as well. It’s amazing how fast children grow, and what beautiful things they will say to you.

Title: Daydreamer

Each portrait I take I has a special place in my heart. The images I create take me back to that very moment in time. I hear the children giggle as I tickled mommy, or remember what crazy things dad might have said or done to show his true self, and I would love someday to share each one with you!

The Cassem Family

What a beautiful day I was able to share with the Cassem’s. Mary and Marty were celebrating 25 years together with a family photo session. I first met the Cassems two years ago when their daughter had her graduation portraits taken. Here is a sample of what the session looked liked.

These portraits were taken at seven mile park, and in their home. I am currently able to travel and photograph both inside your home and on location.
