To Be Published

Cesil (pronounced see-seal), who works for the YWCA, stopped in a few days ago to be photographed for the Womens Inc magazine. Her story and photos will be featured on the cover of the October Issue of Womens Inc. If you are not familiar with the publishing Click here for more information. She has a beautiful story to share, and a sparkling personality…but I’ll let you find all that out for yourself when you read the article!

One weekend of SonShine , spread across the midwest!

There will be limited staff at Barnett Photo this weekend. The studio will be closed since Kendall and I will both be out of the office this weekend (Friday-Monday). We are both packed up and ready to go camping! Kendall will be heading to Wisconsin with her new camper and her family(her dog t-bone too!). Kandi headed to Iowa last night to volunteer her time at the summer camp where her friends work. I am heading to Wilmar, Minnesota to be a counselor for my church youth and to enjoy the Sonshine Christian Music Festival (where I met my husband 2 years ago). Danie is out of the lab as well, she is having her tonsils taken out today! Ouch! We wish her a quick and painless recovery. So if you call, or email and get no response, be patient with us! We plan to take care of them asap! Have a blessed weekend!

The many faces of a one year old child!

Miss Isabella was born in Surprise, Arizona around 14 months ago. Her parents recently moved back to Minnesota(where they were born) and plan to work as teachers in the area. I had the joy of photographing Izzy or Bella on a warm sunny day at a nearby park recently. Mom and dad weren’t expecting me to photograph them too, but the interaction between the new parents and child was priceless. She had so many different facial expressions, I had a hard time choosing which to share with you, so check our her slide show below to enjoy them all!
