Twin Cities Professional Photographers awards banquet was held this past Monday night in Minneapolis. Lucas and I battled through the winter weather advisory to arrive in time to for good food and great friends. I have been a member of TCPPA for three years and it’s a professional organization I value very much. Last month I entered TCPPA print competition with images of my landscape & maternity portraits. The prints I entered earned me the honors of Second Place for Illustrative Photographer of the year.
TCPPA is an affiliate group of Minnesota Professional Photographers(with which I have been a member since 2003) that holds monthly workshops in Eden Prairie. Although Mankato is not in the twin cities, I have found being a member has changed the way I photograph, and keeps the fire of creativity alive each month. It’s worth the drive every month.
