The cover story features a remarkable mother who has gone above and beyond to bring love and support to a young child. She has adopted Ben, who lives with fetal alcohol syndrome, and cares for his every need. I was fortune to spend time with them both in their home and in my studio, each time I couldn’t stop smiling. The bond between them melted my heart. So in honor of the special heart shaped holiday I wanted you to meet Kari and Ben, one of my favorite love stories .
