Inspired Portrait Photography

It’s a Thursday, I am in Fulda, my hometown, at my home. While my mom does her work I am allready bored, sitting here thinking of all the things I could be doing with this time off. I can’t sit still. I offered to paint the dinning room here, it’s a project long over due, but I guess it’s not on the priorities here. We went Christmas shopping yesterday and wow I can’t believe tomorrow is allready December. It’s been sometime since I’ve had extra time to do writing and photography(outside of work) so I am looking to 2007 with much excitement. I recently hired my best friend for a few hours a week. She has been a great addition the studio. She is a graduate of MSU-Mankato with a BFA in art, her talents lie mostly in painting and fabrics. Her passion for creation has been overflowing, as well as her exceptional sales skills rock the place. The two of us have great ideas for the new year at the studio.

I have been busy outside of work as well. A band from my church asked me to make some graphics for their new CD they are recording in two weeks. It’s been fun working with them, doing something other then just photography. I also recently photographed some girls I meet with every week at Hosanna. After the five of them came to the studio I was able to make a slide show for them. It was the first time I used “Pro Show Gold” I found it very easy to work with. Slide shows are something I do not offer to my clients at this time, but I would like to in to in the future.

Nothing much else new. I am getting eager to see my family over the holidays and have time to relax, eat and play games! yeah! Take care everyone!
