Loading...Grease on Ice
by Sherry ~ March 30th, 2007. Filed under: z - Archives - z.It’s one of my favorite times of year again! Every spring we photography the Mankato Figure Skating Club prior to their preformance on ice. This years theme…GREASE on ice. Danie, Kendall, Brian and I are heading up to the skating rink real soon to start setting up for our long portrait session that takes place all day tomorrow. the staff works all day with various groups and individuals. The figure skaters rang in age from 4/5 all the way to seniors in high school. This will be my 5th year photographing the event. Portraits are used in the program, displayed at the event and purchased by the girls. I am very excited!!!
Some of the girls have been in to get their “character” portraits taken this week. Here are a few of their portraits.

We bring most of my favorite props up to the studio, really anything that fits in the van I try to bring with, I probably get carried away. But the one thing I forget to bring will be the one that I REALLY want, I am sure other photographer’s can relate!
