1. I will be out of the studio from April 8th-15th, celebrating my honeymoon with Lucas in Orlando, Flordia. The office will still be open, and Kendall will help with any concerns you have!
2. Kendall is having a sale while ”the boss is away”. Stop in to see what she great offers she has!
3. Barnett Portrait Studio is having a spring food drive for the Echo Food Shelf , here in Mankato. Drop off a donation of any size during the week of April 21st -26th, and we will give you a portrait credit coupon to use anytime you choose! It’s a Win Win!
4. My friends Danette and Jeremy gave birth to their first child. Michael James was born on March 4th! What a joy to see a couple (whom I met photographing their wedding) bring a new life into the world. Congratulations!
Here are a few images from the session:

6. It’s graduation announcement time, which is one of our favorite times of the year! Kendall and I have been working hard this year to tune up our photoshop skills, and our graphic design skills just for you! Stop in soon so we can create a unique card announcing your special event! Congrats Class of 2008
7. Your Donations Needed: We are currently selling a 12 month calendar for $5 ea, all proceeds go to the Blue Earth County Humane Society. We photographed cats and dogs at the local shelter, and created a desktop calender to raise funds for animals in need. You can pick one up at the studio, or e-mail us info@barnettportraitstudio.com and we can send one out your way! Thank you for your kind hearts!
8. Two of our clients are celebrating their first birthdays! Happy birthday Carter and Rachel! We’ve known them since birth and it’s been a pleasure to watch them grow and change! Happy birthday
Carter
Rachel
9. I’ve noticed trash everywhere I go. How does it get there? When I’m driving past open fields I see plastic bags and trash for miles. Maybe it’s just me, bu
t I have a very very hard time with liter, so let’s pick it up. That’s my personal challenge this spring for you and for me. Lets go above and beyond to clean up the world. Get your friends together and help your neighbors. Recycle where you can and reuse what you can! That is my hope for us this spring!
10. Sunday Luke and I went to lunch with a couple from our church, Cassie & Alex. Although we see them every week, we’ve never had a lunch date before and it was great. We laughed, told stories, swapped advice and just enjoyed the company of each other. Sometimes it feels like a risk to try something new, but in the end it’s extremely rewarding! I encourage you to invite someone out to lunch this week that you don’t know very well, and get to know them better.
Have a Blessed Week!
